Got it all put together last night and it's running like a champ. Right now it's mining around 530 KH/s but with some tweaking tonight I hope to get it above 600.

Current temps on the video card are hovering around 74 degrees, current CPU temps around 60 degrees.

I'm running Windows 8 64bit, latest AMD drivers, and using CG Miner.

Nice rig! That looks like it would be great for gaming too! I am anxious to find out if you can hit 600 kh/sec with tweaks and overclocking.

Need to give Reaper a try and see if you get better results with it. It seems to work good with the 7XXX series.

Nice rig! It's obviously going to be used for more than just litecoin mining, looking at your choice of processor and the 16 GB of RAM. :) I use reaper on my rigs and can get over 600Kh/s when Litecoin mining. Reaper tends to be a memory hog, but that won't be an issue for you. I built as cheap as possible (since I have another rig for gaming) and wanted to get the most bang for my buck by building something like this: http://www.coinminingrigs.com/budget-mining-rig It's a good basic guide, but could be more specific in how to configure the actual litecoin mining software. That's the tough part of building a rig, IMHO.

The one issue I have with my litecoin mining rigs is a high 'stale' rate. Not sure why. Maybe it's the pool I'm using? I use Burnside's Pool . They get fewer DDOS issues than others I've used, but the stale rates are starting to be an issue. If you can shed any light on this, that would be great!
