Intel has revealed the worlds thinnest noteboook, which is just 0.7 inch's (18mm) thick. Co-designed by Intel engineers and Ziba Design, the prototype pictured weighs in at 1.02kg.

Were just going thinner and thinner, when will it stop :p The end must be near soon?! I miss the old days of laptops and stuff, like the 300MHz ones, those were good machines for the time. Where will this end, as I can see it been in the not so far future for most stuff.

these ultra portable things always seem so fragile to me, tho i wouldnt throw it away if i got one for free :)

you know what i want? a laptop that doesn't run out of battery in 60 seconds...

Exactly, modern laptops these days have terrible battery life. My Dell Latitude C600 lasts for 4 hours 10 minutes on 1 battery and 9 hours on two. I can't even find a single battery which lasts for so long on new laptops.
