Biostar HiFi Z97WE Motherboard Review

Introduction The Z97 chipset motherboards have now gone into full swing, and with the Haswell refresh we saw a lot of new flavor in motherboard choices this time around. Today, we are going to be looking at the Biostar HiFi Z97WE Motherboard. At first glance, we have to be honest here… we didn’t really like the color combination Biostar used with the HiFi Z97WE Motherboard. The gold heatsinks with its yellow and black accents really don’t go well together aesthetically speaking. However, putting the aesthetics aside we are going to put the Biostar HiFi Z97WE to the test in terms of performance and see how well it stacks up with other Z97 Motherboards we have already tested. So before we dive in for a closer look, let’s talk about who Biostar is: In 1980,the IT industry was growing at a phenomenal rate. Nanoxia Next Generation Deep Silence 2 Mid-Tower Case

Nanoxia is a company well known in Europe for their Legendary Green Nanoxia Nano-bearing fans and other peripherals, as well as their Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 Gaming cases. Nanoxia re-entered the enthusiast arena with another arrival, called the Deep Silence 2, a second generation Mid-Tower chassis based on their Deep Silence 1 classic design. The Deep Silence 2 mid-tower chassis is also part of a new line of future products whose objective is to offer the perfect relationship of ideal system cooling, and sensationally low noise levels in one package. It is designed especially for high-end PC and gaming systems. Recently when we reviewed The Nanoxia Deep Silence 1, we were very impressed with the build quality. We were also impressed by how both cool and quiet could coexist together. With this and all the other amenities the Deep Silence 1 had to offer, it received our Pure Overclock's Great Hardware award. I am especially excited to be reviewing the next generation Nanoxia Deep Silence 2. At $99.00 US it is slightly less expensive than the Deep Silence 1. ASRock 990FX Extreme 9 Motherboard Review

When it comes to looking for an AMD motherboard with the 990FX chipset, there are few new options right now. The 990FX chipset from AMD has been around for more then a few years now and we have recently only seen manufacturers doing revisions to the existing chipset boards. We are unsure on when the launch of a possible new chipset will be for AMD so for now it looks like it will remain at the top. Today we will take a look at one of the newest of these current top-tier motherboards, the ASRock 990FX Extreme 9. ASRock's previous top motherboard was the Fatal1ty 990FX Professional. How will this board stack up with today's new FX series processors and the piledriver architecture? We will put that to the test.
