The Hyper Beast Comes to NZXT’s S340 Elite

If you were staring at the H440 Hyper Beast thinking about pulling the trigger, debating it for while, seeing the stock slip away and thinking you’d never get another chance like that, well NZXT has some great news for you. Apparently the art design was so well received, that graphic artist Brock Hofer made a design for the S340 Elite case. Honestly, this is already my favorite since the tempered glass side panel make the build look great, while the art design on the front and other side panel really sharpens the overall aesthetics of the case. Like last time, there will only be a limited amount of units, 1,337 to be exact, and you will find a bit of a price tag premium for this design in the amount of $199.99. Don’t let time run out if you know you need to own one of these! Will NZXT begin bringing new art designs to their cases, maybe in the shape of other game or even movie franchises? Check below for an image gallery and the full press release from NZXT. https://www.nzxt.com/products/s340-elite-hyper-beast Los Angeles, CA – April 18, 2017 – NZXT today announces the S340 Elite Hyper Beast Limited Edition, a monstrous psychedelic evolution of the popular S340 Elite mid-tower. This new chassis features the breathtaking Hyper Beast weapon skin found on CS:GO’s infamous...

NZXT S340 Elite VR Ready Case and Internal USB Hub Review

Introduction Alright, everyone! Let’s give a cheer for VR! When I say “V,” you say “R!” Ready? V!!!! ……. Admittedly, cheers work much better in person than in writing, but this doesn’t diminish the hype that went into the Virtual Reality launches earlier this year. The only problem is that sales didn’t reflect the hype that went into how great everything was supposed to be. Many factors may have attributed and while most are speculation, high prices for VR headsets seems to be the biggest obstacle to major adoption for the fledgling technology. There’s also the fact that people like me will never buy into VR because the motion sickness was real when I got to try my hand at it. That being said, it’s still pretty likely that VR will be a big deal soon enough. What Oculus and HTC managed to pull off is a great step towards an eventual widespread adoption. Even if it’s a bit slower to take off than expected, hardware manufacturers will probably put themselves in a good position if they have VR components ready for when consumers start really jumping on the bandwagon. In that light, NZXT has released a new VR ready case. The S340 Elite is more of an update from the notable S340 than a new release, but that didn’t stop them from making a great case for those who don’t have VR as well. In fact, adapting a previous design is a very smart way to prepare for changes at a minimal risk. We’ll...

NZXT Releases the S340 Elite and Internal USB Hub

As the old saying goes, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” NZXT takes that saying to heart in what seems to be the best ways. Take VR for example. There are some features that can really help a case cater to that market, but that doesn’t mean a company has to completely redesign the wheel. The S340 Elite fits perfectly into this category, but that didn’t stop NZXT from adding extra improvements as well. For starters, the Elite adds a gorgeous tempered glass window for the side panel. Glass can pick up finger prints, but it’s really easy to clean with some window cleaner. It adds a classy touch to what is considered a workhorse of a case to begin with. There’s a magnetic puck to hold headsets and NZXT also improved the cable management system inside. Reviews will give us a better idea how well that works, but I have a feeling that it’s going to be a very welcomed improvement. On top of all of that, NZXT is giving us a new internal USB hub so you can be sure to have room for expansion. Check out the full press releases below for the rest of the details and check out the new VR ready case for yourself.
