The Phanteks PH-TC12DX Cooler
One name always comes to mind when you’re talking about superior air cooling performance. That name is Phanteks. Phanteks has become the light and heavy-weight champion in the air cooling arena with high performance air coolers, like their PH-TC14PE. Phanteks is again entering the ring with a new middle-weight contender called the Phanteks PH-TC12DX. It's a single stack profile in a push pull configuration. The PH-TC12DX seems especially geared for those higher end rigs and gaming cases that offer very little space around the CPU area.
Today will be looking at this new addition to the Phanteks family of coolers. It carries the same technologies we have seen in Phanteks' larger coolers, their special P.A.T.S. and C.P.S.C. technologies. The PH-TC12DX sports a smaller profile of just 126 x 57 x 157mm, a nickel plated copper block, four 6mm heat pipes embedded within the block, a blue, aluminum-finned heat stack and two 120mm white and blue PWM fans. All of this is packed together in a smaller footprint. Read on and let’s see if this middle-weight contender can pack a punch like its heavy-weight bigger brother.
Phanteks Launch PH-TC12DX U-Type dual tower CPU Cooler series
Phanteks launches PH-TC12DX, a U-Type dual tower heat-sink with four 6mm heat-pipes allows for optimal airflow and cooling. PH-TC12DX’s 6mm heat-pipes are linearly aligned and developed to have the least amount of air and thermal resistance. Incorporating P.A.T.S and C.P.S.C Technologies, PH-TC12DX delivers better heat dissipation and heat transfers. PH-TC12DX includes dual PH-F120HP PWM Premium fans to allow for higher performance and/or silent operation. Features: Patented. P.A.T.S (Physical Antioxidant Thermal Shield) will greatly increase the cooling performance and reliability while deflecting other thermal radiation from other heat sources, such as the GPU, South Bridge, North Bridge, etc. P.A.T.S, ran at a long period, will display significantly better results in an enclosure, closed environment, than a tech station, open environment. In extreme conditions, PATS is able to withstand temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celsius. P.A.T.S is environmental friendly and non-toxic. Patented. C.P.S.C (Cold Plasma Spraying Coating Technology) is a brand new technologic forming deposit that displaces heat onto corresponding metals at a quicker rate. With this technology, the Phanteks PH-TC12DX enhances thermal conductivity on the soldered surfaces of the heat-pipes through the copper deposits. Phanteks PH-F120HP PWM Premium fans use UFB (Updraft Floating Balance) bearing, Nine blades and MAFO (Maelstrom Air-Fort Optimization) drive system to achieve massive airflow and pe...
Phanteks PH-TC90LS Low Profile CPU Cooler
One of the several names that comes to mind when you’re talking about superior air cooling performance is Phanteks. Phanteks in a very short time has become a leader in the air cooling heavy weight arena, especially with their high performance gargantuan air coolers, like the PH-TC14PE for example. Phanteks is now entering the ring with a new light-weight contender called the Phanteks PH-TC90LS. It is a new arrival with a very low profile. It looks like it is especially geared for those small form factor gaming cases and HTPC builds we now see flooding the market. Its design seems to cater to the limited amount of space that they provide.
Today, I have the pleasure of reviewing a new addition to the Phanteks family of coolers, The PH-TC90LS. It is a very small, low profile cooler with the same technologies we have seen in Phanteks larger builds, like their special P.A.T.S. and C.P.S.C. technologies. The PH-TC90LS sports a low profile of just 95x95x45mm. It is made of a nickel plated copper block, with three 6 mm heat pipes embedded within the block, as well as an aluminum finned heat stack & a 90mm low profile white PWM fan. All this is packed together in a very small footprint. Read on to see if this light weight contender can score a knockout punch like its bigger brothers.
Phanteks Launch PH-TC90LS Ultra Low Profile CPU Cooler
Los Angeles, California, September 17, 2012: Phanteks introduces PH-TC90LS, a new ultra-low profile thermal radiator. With growing demands for cooling in constraint spaces, the PH-TC90LS has a slim profile and provides efficient cooling. Enthusiasts with HTPC’s or multimedia cases can achieve maximum cooling while maintaining quiet performance. The PH-TC90LS is 27mm tall (45mm with fan) and compatible with small form factor cases with a 45mm clearance. The three 6mm Heat-Pipes are aligned to ensure optimal cooling. The three copper heat-pipes are embedded for better contact and performance. The PH-TC90LS is made to ensure it has the least amount of air and thermal resistance. To prevent mechanical conflicts with other components, the PH-TC90LS design follows Intel’s Keep-Out-Zone (95x95mm) requirements. Bundled with PH-F90 PWM Premium fans and PH-NDC thermal compound it is able to achieve massive airflow and perfect dynamic balance. The PH-F90 PWM fans with the support of the anti-acoustic and rubber bar produces low level dB (A) and eliminates vibration. PH-F90 PWM fans provide a simple solution for quiet and smart fan control by adjusting fan speed according to the CPU load. Compatibility PH-TC90LS is compatible with Intel Socket 2011/1155/1156 Technical Specifications For more detailed data and specifications information, please visit our website at www.phanteksusa.com Pricing and Availability Available at most local retailers. The recommended retail price is $29.99...
