Best of 2014

Intro and Honorable Mentions With 2014 having come and gone, I’m sure all of us are greatly looking forward to amazing hardware coming in 2015. But one thing we get to see a lot of is the “Best of” everything that happened in 2014. So even though 2015 is looking very promising, we thought it would be great to look back through the year and do our very own “Best of 2014.” We decided on 5 news pieces, and 10 reviews that were considered to be the cream of the crop. Are you ready for the picks? Before we go into our official list, something always gets left out that just couldn’t be squeezed in with the leaders of the pack. Due to the overwhelming guilt we felt on a couple of really good articles that we just didn’t want to leave out, we decided to have some Honorable Mentions. Windows 8 had become a pretty big disappointment and 10 was poised to fix many of those problems. Then Microsoft released the tech preview. Nexus Lan Live- Dayton Ohio Part 2

  Sorry for the delay on updating you all. I got sucked in to all of the fun at Nexus LAN, these guys know how to have a good time. No matter what flavor of game you enjoy Nexus has you covered. Tourneys for a list of games where you can win some of the sponsored prizes. Speaking of sponsors, thanks to ThermalTake, Silverstone, Sapphire (Ed), and many more for awesome goodie bags! Take a look at some of the fun going on at Nexus LAN 2014. Ed Crisler, our buddy at Sapphire getting his game time in on his mITX AMD based system. AMD APU, SSD, memory and of course a Sapphire 285 mITX GPU inside of Core V1. Quiet but more than capable of playing everything on Eds list.   Check out the dual 760 Asus MARS in Big Spence’s rig. 3 of the GPU cores in SLI and using #4 as a dedicated PhysX processor. Nexus LAN does a great job of getting next generation female gamers to the LAN. They can play with the best so why not come and show it off.
