We’re bringing yet another new thing to you at PureOC this year with all new coverage of CES. Sure, we’ve covered CES before. but this time the Hardware Hound is taking the time to do full video coverage of as many stops as possible. 2017 is already beginning to look like a good year for PC builders, but check out the video below to get closer looks at hardware from Corsair, ECS, Ability 3D and ViewSonic. Keep checking back with the site for even more coverage as the week unfolds and leave your comments in the forums for anything you’re really looking forward to this year! Also, here’s a quick intro showing a bit of the trip there, as well as a quick peek at the Hardware Hound’s hotel command station…. or room if you prefer.

Happy Hardware Hound Halloween, with Star Wars

It’s that time of year again! Scary movies, trick’r’treating, costumes, candy corn, and a review done by a guy dressed as a Star Wars Character? You probably already saw the review for the NZXT S340 Elite VR ready case, but I bet you’ve never seen it like this. If you ever wondered how Kylo Ren would handle building a PC, then check out the video below. You can probably already guess, but the Hardware Hound reviews what makes the S340 Elite great. Happy Halloween!!!

ECS Launches a Motherboard for a “More Civilized Age”

Computex is in full swing and there’s more hardware announcements than a news site can shake a stick at. The no frills layout will likely have less features than competing boards but it also has a good chance of being very cost effective. What’s important is what appears to be a solid VRM design with a good heatsink covering them. Add some RGB illumination and this is certainly a board an overclocker can be interested in, if the price is right. Check out the press release below for more info and a look at the new Liva mini PCs.
