Mouse No More – RBT Rebel Indiegogo Campaign adds Budget Option

You may remember something about a new input device called the RBT (rabbit) that was supposed to improve the mouse design dramatically. We got the chance to review it and the conclusion was that the button layout worked in a completely surprising way. Even now, in spite of being back on a regular mouse for some time, I still can’t get used to the tension that is so obvious in my neck and should after having the RBT experience. Well if price was a factor, there’s good news. For $55 right now, you can add to the campaign funds and secure an RBT Rogue for yourself. The DPI sensor is going to be quite a bit lower than the gaming version, but if you aren’t the type to set sensitivity to the point that a tiny flinch causes the cursor to shoot across the screen (like me), then the office version might be perfect anyways. Check out the link below because if you’ve ever experienced discomfort from using a mouse, the RBT is well worth the cost. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/mouse-no-more-rbt-rebel-rogue-taking-over-esports#/

FNATIC Clutch G1 Gaming Mouse Review

Introduction Fnatic was the first company I ever reviewed when it came to keyboards and mice. As such, a product can get more leeway than intended because the reviewer doesn’t have as much to compare to. Today, the Flick is still on my desk because it turns out I just really like the feel of that mouse. It comes as no surprise then, that I was more than happy to take another look at a Fnatic product, the Clutch G1 Gaming Mouse. I might have some high expectations now, but we’ll see exactly how well their ergonomic approach is in this seriously over-crowded gaming mouse market. Once again, here’s a little bit of info about who Fnatic is.

NIXEUS Revel Gaming Mouse Review

Introduction Alright, everyone! I think I’m getting over the fact that there’s a massive surge of unstoppable gaming mice that are overrunning the planet right now. My anxiety levels are calming down a bit. In that light, I proudly bring to you yet another mouse review. At least this time, we have a different manufacturer from my previous reviews so we can see how well they play their hand at entering one of the most crowded markets in the existence of PC hardware. NIXEUS may not be a name you’ve heard of, but they seem to be on the right track with many of their releases. DREAM MACHINES DM1 Pro S Gaming Mouse Review

Introduction I want to point this intro in another direction. I really do! But there’s just SO many gaming mice!!! I’m beginning to think it’s easier to start a mouse company than it is to become a debt buyer. A quick look through Amazon will tell you I’m not over-exaggerating. However, this many options isn’t a bad thing. While there can be a lot of bad products to sort through, this can also help a buyer find exactly what they want. In reviewing several mice recently, I’ve noticed that each one has the tiniest little differences that can be a huge deal for the way it feels. DREAM MACHINES is at it again with the DM1 Pro S Gaming Mouse. They included a Pixart 3360 optical sensor this time and having used it in other mice, I can already say it’s a welcome addition. DREAM MACHINES is likely a name you haven’t heard of, so here’s a little bit of info about their company. Dream Machines specializes in providing the best solutions for gamers. We wanted to create something that would fulfill the needs of even the most demanding players. Many gamers cannot reach their potential as they a limited by hardware, such as a slow processor or weak graphics card. Our computers make sure that each gamer can reach his or her highest abilities, by offering our customers the most advanced equipment available on the market. Dream Machines is working with the top designers, experts, and manufacturers from around the world. Dream Machines...

FNATIC Rush, Flick & Focus Review

Introduction It seems everything in the world is advertised as “Gamer” in order to attract customers. Seriously! I just read about a gamer toothbrush!!! ESports are on the rise but how much gaming hardware do we really need? Wait! You said it was designed by an actual eSports team!?! Shut up and take my money!!! Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, let’s sift through the jargon and see exactly what FNATIC is doing with their new set of gaming peripherals. FNATIC is an eSports, League of Legends team that has also dived into a gaming keyboard, mouse and pad. The claim is that because these devices were designed by professional gamers, they will give you an edge in any competitive online play you might engage in. We’ll try to assess these claims soon, but before we do, here’s some more info on FNATIC, the company behind the Rush keyboard, Flick Mouse and Boost Pad.

ROSEWILL Showed Off the Nighthawk 117 at CES 2016

ROSEWILL is a name that hasn’t been mentioned here in a while, but we hope that starts changing because they had some impressive components at CES this year. The Newegg original prides themselves on giving their customers the best bang for their buck that they can so that there’s more left over for those cash hungry components like CPUs and GPUs. Since many of our site veterans are Newegg regulars, it would’ve been a shame for us not to stop by and find out what ROSEWILL was showing off. The Nighthawk 117 is a great looking case, but the gaming mouse and speaker set that I saw promised some good things to come as well. First, let’s address the horrible lighting in the Palazzo. So much yellow! Now, with that out of the way let’s turn to the Nighthawk 117. This is a full tower offering from ROSEWILL and it has some nice looking features at a good price point. The first thing that was noticeable was the spacious interior. It will certainly make a build pretty easy for those who don’t like working in tight spaces. The aesthetic is very nice. It has just enough edges to give it that gaming look, but they aren’t so “in your face” to lose a certain elegance to the design as well. The fun part was being able to open the vents on top for a bit of additional airflow. It looks cool and serves practicality if the user likes to dampen the noise a bit at times. The other feature I really like is the eSATA port on the top of the case ...

COUGAR 700M Aluminum Gaming Mouse & Speed Mouse Pad – Review

Introduction   Cougar is known for making exotic looking cases, performance chassis fans and the color “orange”. They’ve also been working on expanding to other product sectors over the last few years; We even saw them release a line of power supplies that was generally well received. Hoping to expand on that success, we are now witnessing Cougar reach into the very competitive “gaming peripherals” market. As eSports continues to pick up momentum and followers, hardcore gaming itself is rising from parent’s basements to being broadcast to millions across the globe. As a result, each day new gamers are born into this growing market, and Cougar is looking to “pounce” on this potential revenue stream (Editor’s Note: I see what you did there… -Mike). Cougar sent us the 700M Gaming Mouse and the Cougar Mouse Pad Speed, their latest enthusiast gaming products, to take a look at. We’re going to see if Cougar has what it takes to survive in this tough market, or if they could end up on the “endangered products” list. First, a few words about Cougar:   About COUGAR COUGAR was started in Germany in 2007 by a group of computer peripherals engineers who wanted to design with passion. We established a professional team, adhered to the design philosophy of technology centered on human use and aesthetic perfection. These combinations lead to products that met the global demand for high-end profession...

Zalman Reveals Mouse that could be Deceptacon in Disguise

If I had to give an award to a company with the coolest looking hardware, I’d definitely give it to Zalman. Obviously this is purely subjective, but Zalman’s designs are full of pure techno awesomeness (Thank you Po for that word!). It will come as no surprise that Zalman is still living up to that reputation with the new arrival of the Knossos ZM-GM4 Gaming Mouse. Looks aren’t everything though. Many hardware enthusiasts will overlook some performance and functionality if the aesthetics are just right, but this mouse doesn’t seem like it’s sacrificing either. As expected, it has numerous programmable buttons, an adjustable weight tuning system, durable Omron switches and a few more typical features; however, it’s the Transformer type feature that really grabbed my attention. The grip can be adjusted from three places to perfectly fit any hand! If the picture wasn’t enough to make this look like it belonged in a Michael Bay film, the video definitely tops it off showing full rotational views and the mechanical movements. I’m not totally sure whether this is just a new mouse release, or a Deceptacon plot to invade the homes of the world populous, but I can’t help wanting one. The style obviously won’t be for everyone. Also, without any pricing, it’s hard to determine a value. On the other hand, if you like everything on and around your computer desk to have that pure techno awesomeness flare, I’m s...

Tt eSPORTS Level 10M Gaming Mouse

I have always been a pretty competitive individual, from sports like baseball, skating & racing to gaming on my computer. One of the things that’s really important when competing is not just being good at what you do, but also having the right equipment to help get you there. The right equipment can take you from being a good competitor to a great competitor. This is also true when gaming because without great equipment to assist you, such as your mouse or mechanical keyboard, you’re just another good player. If you want to be known as a great player and a winner, like most professional athletes and gamers, you’re going to have to turn to the latest gear to give you that edge to beat your opponents. Today I have the pleasure of bringing you just such a peripheral, The Tt eSPORTS Level 10M Gaming Mouse, brought to you with the previous collaboration between BMW’s DesignWorksUSA and Thermaltake, who also brought you the level 10 Concept PC. The Tt Level 10M Mouse is divided into lower and upper segments, with the height-and-angle-adjustable perforated upper appearing to float over the solid aluminum base to provide passive ventilation. The Tt Level 10 has two regular buttons on the top and five additional buttons on the sides, with the “Z” key acting as a modifier to provide five additional commands. This all adds up to a total of 11 command keys that are programmable via a software application. In gaming mode, the “Z” key can be used to switch between up ...

Gigabyte Aivia Krypton Gaming Mouse & Gaming Pad

How many of you remember the the Speed Skating at the last winter Olympics? As a young man during my High School years I did some speed skating of my own... strapping on those skates and racing against others on the clean fresh ice was an exhilarating and rewarding experience, especially when I won. If the conditions of the ice beneath my feet were right, and my skates were sharp it was easier to get in "the zone." The slightest tweak could help me out-maneuver, speed past, and beat my opponents to the finish line. When gaming on a PC you also look for those same slight tweaks that might help you get in the zone and provide that extra edge over your opponents.
