FSP Windale 6 CPU Cooler Review

Introduction FSP gave us something new to look at with their CMT210 Chassis, but they included a CPU cooler to review as well. The CMT210 was excellent in addressing tiny details that can cause frustration for someone, especially if it’s a first time PC build. Now we have the Windale 6 to look at and while we’ll be looking at how easily the cooler installs, cooling performance will be an integral point to look at as well. We also won’t forget aesthetics. As always, we’ll get to Windale soon enough, but first let’s look at the company statement again from FSP! Since 1993, based on its professional R&D expertise, enormous production capacity and high Quality Assurance, FSP has achieved an important position in the challenging IT industry. To strengthen the brand image and to provide better service to our customers, FSP built its own brand in 2003. FSP has a good understanding of customer needs, which includes providing products of high quality and reliability, after-sales service and continuous development of new products. It can be prominently seen in such as our products like highly efficient Aurum series and the fanless Zen series. As a result, innovation and high quality are the most important advantages of FSP. In the future, FSP will continue innovating new technology to meet customers’ needs with its professional R&D team and after-sales service. To provide highly efficient and innovative products for all families and enrich...

FSP CMT210 Computer Case Review

Introduction The gaming mouse industry has been overrun with competition for quite some time now. That doesn’t surprise me, but I am starting to get a little surprised at how many budget cases are being introduced into the market. It seems like computer building is a pretty niche market, but on second thought, the idea that there’s a surge of prospective buyers in the $50 range makes a lot of sense. If you’re new to PC building, you’ve probably allocated a large amount of budget to other components and if you’re just looking to upgrade, pre-built system cases can have serious space limitations. FSP has traditionally been known for power supplies, but they’ve decided to enter the budget case arena with their CMT210 mid-tower chassis. Call me a sucker for punishment, but I still want to find that budget tower that really hits all the marks I think a budget case should hit. We’ll dive into the chassis soon enough, but first let’s take a look at a bit of info from FSP. Since 1993, based on its professional R&D expertise, enormous production capacity and high Quality Assurance, FSP has achieved an important position in the challenging IT industry. To strengthen the brand image and to provide better service to our customers, FSP built its own brand in 2003. FSP Introduces 700W PS2 Redundant Power Supply with 80 Plus Gold Efficiency

FSP Introduces 700W PS2 Redundant Power Supply with 80 Plus Gold Efficiency Achieves Highest Power Density of Any PS2 Redundant Power Supply June 23, 2016, Taipei, Taiwan – FSP, the performance power specialist, is pleased to announce its new FSP700-70RGHBE1 PS2 redundant Power Supply. The FSP700-70RGHBE1 joins the FSP500-70RGHBB1 as the latest server-grade power supply from FSP. This time, two highly reliable 700W power supplies are offered, achieving 22.4W/in3 (watt per cubic inch,) the highest power density currently available in a standard PS2 redundant form factor. The two fully redundant, modular power supplies operate at 80 Plus Gold efficiency, and no specialized bracket is needed for installation. It is the first PS2 redundant which fits 80% of ATX chassis on the market without needing a special bracket. It’s compliant with both desktop ATX 12V and server EPS12V standards, suitable for many industrial PCs, and also compatible with rackmount server chassis 3U and above. It offers reliable, 24-hr performance at temperatures up to 50°C. 80 Plus Gold Efficiency in a Server-class Power Supply The FSP700-70RGHBE1 is a 80 Plus Gold certified switching mode power supply which uses active power factor correction and DC to DC convertors to provide stable, efficient power with low ripple and noise. It offers peak efficiency of 90% even when running at 50% load, saving significant operating costs. As a more efficient power supply, it lowers both electricity and cooling c...

FSP Announces 80PLUS Gold Certified Hydro X Power Supply Series

FSP Announces 80PLUS Gold Certified Hydro X Power Supply Series Low Standby Power Usage, Dynamic Cooling, and DC-DC Design for High Efficiency and Reliability 10th May, 2016 – Taipei, Taiwan – FSP, the performance power specialist, announces the release of its Hydro X Series 80PLUS Gold certified power supplies. These ATX PSUs use premium components and Japanese-made electrolytic capacitors made to exacting standards in order to provide users excellent cooling performance at high efficiency with minimum noise.   Efficient, Reliable DC-DC Module Design Both +3.3V and +5V modules use a custom DC-DC design with solid capacitors for efficiency, voltage stability, and high system compatibility. This design is also optimized for the latest power-saving 6th Generation Intel Skylake processors. Tight Voltage Regulation and Smart Cooling A bespoke variable resistor (VR) design better controls the balance point of the +12V rail for tight regulation. Hydro X series PSUs ensure the output voltage is regulated within 1% under any load change. A thermometer monitors the internal temperature and automatically adjusts the speed of the 120mm double ball bearing fan to provide optimal cooling. Eco-Minion Controller Reduces Standby Power Consumption Computers spend most of their time sleeping. When a PC is in sleep or idle modes, most of its functions are powered by the +5Vsb rail. The Hydro X series includes an Eco-Minion Controller that enhances the overall performance of this rail. G...

NZXT Hale90 V2 1000W

One of the things that virtually all power supplies have in common is the drab exteriors. However, NZXT has made a rather bold decision to bring to us their new HALE90 V2 series which showcase an all-white exterior. This move will set NZXT apart from the crowd just for the aesthetics alone. However, we shouldn't be buying a power supply solely based on its color; it still must meet the power requirements for our individual system’s requirements. The new HALE90 V2 1000W from NZXT is a premium-class unit that offers a fully modular design, unique and sleek styling, and claims excellent performance for demanding consumers.
