Introduction Over the last few years, the HyperX…a division of Kingston Technologies has increased its product line and today we add a new addition to the memory category. HyperX introduced to us the Fury series last year which offered great speeds for its entry level gaming memory and received great feedback for the awesome bang for your buck performance to value. With the success of the Fury line up, today we are going to introduce to you the new Savage series that will replace its existing Genesis series. HyperX Savage has been designed to fit the middle playing ground of bang for your buck and top performing memory. The Savage memory line offers speed of up to 2400MHz speeds and various size configurations from 4GB to 32GB kits. The kit we have at hand today is the Savage HX318C9SRK2/16. This is 2x8GB sticks of 1866MHz of aesthetically pleasing memory. While the Savage series was not designed to be your best of the best performers, it is designed to fit that good middle ground. The Savage sits nicely between HyperX’s Fury and its Predator line up. Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB 1866MHz CL10 Memory (HX318C10FWK2/8) Review

Kingston Technologies have been in the memory business over two decades and are known for their reliable and fast memory. Today we are going to be looking at Kingston's new HyperX line called "Fury". This new Fury line from Kingston will position itself against its current mainstream HyperX Genesis and high-end HyperX Predator lines. The HyperX Fury pretty much lines up with its competitor from Corsair the Vengeance line. This will give consumers more options and widens that market share. The Fury line was not designed to be the best of the best, but is meant to meet that middle line between your beginning users and the higher-end clients. We have speeds ranging from 1333MHz to 1866Mhz which will be available in 8GB single sticks or 8GB to 16GB kits. Kingston 8GB HyperX Predator Memory Kit – KHX26C11T2K2/8X

Introduction Over the last decade or so we have seen a speedy advancement in memory. Not too long ago we were talking about the DDR1 era with speeds of 400MHz as the bragging rights. Then we take a few steps forward and DDR2 came along, followed by DDR3 not too long after, as things continued to evolve. DDR3 has been one of the longest running memory platforms, going on 5 years now. Until the next big advancement in memory bandwidth comes along, we will simply continue to see incremental tweaks in the evolution of DDR3. That’s what we have today. With each growing chipset we are seeing new advancements with Intel’s IMC (internal memory controller).
