PNY's Quadro FX 380 LP...

PNY announced today that it is premiering its new NVIDIA Quadro FX 380 LP (Low Profile) by PNY professional graphics solution at the NVIDIA booth (#319) during Autodesk University.

PNY will be demonstrating the NVIDIA Quadro FX 380 LP powering Seneca Data's Nexlink workstation running Autodesk AutoCAD. Design professionals attending the show will experience how the Quadro FX 380 LP and its optimized performance drivers for AutoCAD can increase their productivity, with up to a 10X acceleration in AutoCAD 2009 versus consumer graphics cards.

"Seneca Data prides itself on delivering the most powerful and cost-effective CAD solutions in the market. With the introduction of the entry-level NVIDIA Quadro FX 380 LP by PNY graphics solution, our Nexlink systems can deliver performance, stability, ISV certification and display quality at an affordable price," said Mike Smith, VP of OEM and Engineering Services, Seneca Data.

"Autodesk University is a great venue for PNY to demonstrate the powerful capabilities of this low-profile form factor, high performance graphics board, which when combined with a low cost workstation like Seneca Data's Nexlink delivers an outstanding price performance CAD solution," said Jeff Medeiros, Director of Marketing, PNY Technologies Inc.

Designed for small form factor desktop systems, the NVIDIA Quadro FX 380 LP by PNY is ideal for 2D professional business applications in multi-monitor environments and is certified for leading 3D CAD and DCC applications. Featuring NVIDIA's innovative CUDA architecture with 16 parallel processing cores, a generous 512MB GDDR3 frame buffer and support for ultra-high resolution panels (up to 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz) the Quadro FX 380 LP delivers amazing image quality, making it perfect for highly detailed and photorealistic images. The Quadro FX 380 LP is Microsoft Windows 7 ready, supports Shader Model 4.1 and enables next generation ultra-realistic, real-time OpenGL and DirectX 10.1 applications. In addition, Quadro FX 380 LP is EnergyStar compliant, with an ultra-low, 28 Watt power consumption rating.

The NVIDIA Quadro FX 380 LP by PNY is available to system integrators, value-added resellers, and distributors throughout North America, South America and Europe. All products in the NVIDIA Quadro by PNY series come with a three-year standard warranty. For additional information, visit PNY Technologies website.
