Video Card...
Gainward has a triple-slot GPU up it's sleeve, too

A new sticker isn't the only difference here...

Following the creation of Palit's triple-slot "Revolution 700 Deluxe" HD 4870 X2 (which has been a hot topic in our forum), it seems that subsidiary Gainward has a version of its own.

Scared as we were after seeing the beast we kinda recovered today (after a few nightmares in which it crushed us and our GeForce 9800 GTX like ants) only to discover that the monster has a twin, Gainward's Radeon HD 4870 X2 Golden Sample.

As seen below, Gainward's card differs from Palit's creation only through the applied sticker and still boasts an uber-cooler with four heatpipes and two fans, 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 3800 MHz (3600 MHz stock) and two RV770 GPUs with a frequency of 750 MHz. The Golden Sample also features D-Sub, DVI, HDMI and DisplayPot connectivity but no release date or price tag, yet.
