Take two. Can Nvidia counter AMD's Radeon HD 4850 the second time round? We take a look at Palit's 9800 GTX+ to see how it stacks up against the competition...

Follow the link to read the full review: Palit 9800GTX+.

With the battle between Nvidia and ATI as strong as it’s ever been, and the pendulum having swung back to ATI in this round, consumers are facing an unprecedented time nowadays, having the privilege of getting some very serious horsepower for their hard-earned dollar. The beauty here is the both companies offer some very impressive cards at great prices, making a decision all the more difficult: Team Red or Team Green? Not ones to shy away from controversy, we decided to pit them head to head, along with a few other cards thrown into the mix, to see what happens.

Today we’ll be looking at the Palit 9800GTX+. Palit is one of the few companies that manufacturers both ATI and Nvidia cards, and we are fortunate today to have two competing cards from Palit that represent each side of the graphics camp. We pit Palit’s GeForce 9800GTX+ against our recently reviewed Palit Radeon 4850 Sonic in a full-out, no-hold’s-barred cage match, complete with all the latest and greatest games that have just hit the market. We even busted our butts to include Call of Duty 5 Beta results, a game that was just released on the PC. Needless to say, bleary-eyed and suffering from caffeine withdrawal, we live for this stuff.
