Ubisoft's Far Cry 2 nearing launch, goes gold
written by Ciro - October 17, 2008 06:00

With launch taking place in less than a week now, Far Cry 2 has gone gold, with good reason too. As Shacknews report, the title has "entered manufacturing".

Developed this time around by Ubisoft Montreal--the PC original was crafted by Crytek--Far Cry 2 will hit PS3 and Xbox 360 at $60, with the PC version coming in at $50. Additionally, those that pre-order the PC version through Valve's digital distribution platform Steam will receive $5 off.
