Super Talent's Pico-C flash drive busts a record
written by Ciro - October 4, 2008 11:00

Gizmodo has named Super Talent's popular Pico-C flash drive as one of the Top Ten Record Breaking Consumer Gadgets of 2008, under the smallest flash drive category...

According to Gizmodo, “…everyone claims to have the biggest, smallest or the fastest product on the market—but just because it's in the press release doesn't make it true. Not so with the following 10 gadgets—these are sure-fire record breakers.” The other nine gadgets selected by Gizmodo are a 255 MPH production car with 1183 horsepower, a motorcycle that can outrun the car, a 3 million volume record collection, a 33 function, $6 million Patek Phillipe pocket watch, a $2 billion mansion, a working two-inch revolver that fires two millimeter bullets, a pocket sized Sony HD camcorder, an ultra powerful flashlight, and a 150-inch Panasonic plasma screen TV. See the article here.

Sure-Fire Record Breaker
Super Talent’s Pico-C drive, named the World’s Smallest USB Drive, measures only 31.3mm x 12.4mm x 3.4mm and weighs less than a nickel. “There are several manufacturers that claim their USB drive is the smallest, but the current leader appears to be Super Talent”, Gizmodo explains. The chrome plated Pico-C is offered in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities. A limited edition 24-carat gold plated Pico-C drive is available in 4GB and 8GB capacities. Super Talent’s whole line of ultra-small Pico USB drives are rugged, water resistant, and support up to 200X transfer speeds. The 8GB Pico drive, which retails for under $30, is by far the most affordable gadget on Gizmodo’s dream list.
