Right on schedule, Adobe has rolled-out Creative Suite 4, which includes the 11th generation of its photo editing software, Photoshop. TG Daily have the low-down.
Key products of CS4 include Photoshop CS4, which includes GPU acceleration (read our review here) as well as InDesign CS4, which enables designers to export files to XFL (or SWF) to manipulate the document within Flash CS4. InDesign and Photoshop sell for $699 each (standalone version, upgrades from $199); Photoshop Extended CS4 is priced at $999.
Adobe continues to offer several packages for different customer groups.
The Creative Suite 4 Design Premium (InDesign, Photoshop Extended, Acrobat 9 Pro, Fireworks) is priced at $1799 (upgrades from $599).
The Creative Suite 4 Web Premium (Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop Extended, Illustrator, Contribute, Device Central, Acrobat 9 Professional) is priced at $1699 (upgrades from $599).
