Dell's break into the low-cost netbook market is expected to take place this week, when the computer giant launches its 8.9-inch Inspiron 910. A sub $400 price is expected.
Coming with a 8.9-inch screen, the Inspiron 910 is powered by an Intel Atom CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz and will feature either 512MB of 1GB of RAM and a 4, 8 or 16GB solid state drive.
Also boasting a 4-cell battery, Dell's netbook will be available with Windows XP or Ubuntu 8.04 pre-installed and may cost under $400 thus giving the Acer Aspire One a run for its money.
