Dell has rolled-out another lineup of laptops, alias the Latitude E-series, which will occupy the Portable, Mainstream, Essential and Semi-Rugged markets.

Weighting in as low as 2.2 and 3.3 pounds, the Latitude E4200 and E4300 respectively are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processors, have integrated graphics, and can be equipped with either HDDs or SSDs. The E4200 features a 12.1-inch screen LED backlit screen while the E4300 has a 13.3-inch LCD. These ones will become available in the next few weeks.

Kicking off at $1,139 and $1,169, the 14.1-inch E6400 and 15.4-inch E6500 respectively make use of speedy 2.8 GHz Core 2 Duo CPUs, up to 8GB of memory and can be loaded with Nvidia Quadro graphics.

Already on sale, the 14.1-inch and 15.4-inch E5400 and E5500 laptops are also based around an Intel platform and can be equipped with up to 8GB of RAM but not with an SSD. The E5400 starts off at $839 while the E5500 can be found at $869 and above.
