Windows 7 developments are going smoothly and the OS is on track for an early 2010 launch, revealed Microsoft's Bill Veghte during a financial analyst meeting.
Windows 7 has been slated for launch some three years after Vista shipped for consumers and Veghte reiterated that everything is on track to meet the early 2010 deadline . Unfortunately, no additional info about Vista's successor was provided.
On the browser front, the beta 2 of Internet Explorer 8 will be ready for delivery next month with the final version planned for release later this year.
