Galaxy's low-profile 9600 GT has now surfaced in stores worldwide, according to associated press. The HTPC ready card is available for just under $150.
Available in Japan for about $148, the model makes use of a 65nm G94 GPU and offers those with limited case space DirectX 10 support and 512MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at a very stock frequency of 1800 MHz.
Equipped with active cooling, the card has nothing but stock clocks so its GPU is set to 650 MHz while the 64 Stream Processors top 1625 MHz. Connectivity wise, the low-profile 9600 GT is quite decent as it offers a TV-Out and a DVI port. As like its brothers with bigger PCBs, Galaxy's card requires additional power via a 6-pin PCIe connector.
