OCZ launches Fatal1ty branded memory kits
written by Ciro - July 22, 2008 07:00

OCZ has today introduced its long-awaited Fatal1ty-branded DDR2 and DDR3 memory kits. The 2 and 4GB kits boast Fatal1ty-engraved XTC heat-spreaders.

OCZ worked closely with Fatal1ty and his team to design new memory kits that pair perfectly with the top selling motherboards for a superior gaming experience," commented Alex Mei, Chief Marketing Officer of the OCZ Technology Group. "Fatal1ty knows what it takes to win at the highest level of eSports, and these new kits deliver superior stability and performance to gamers whether you are a professional player on the Championship Gaming Series, or a weekend warrior looking to dominate when playing the latest titles."

For starters OCZ is launching four Fatal1ty series kits, two DDR2 and two DDR3. The DDR3 offer consists of 2 and 4GB kits which support EPP and will run at 1333 MHz with CL 9-9-9-26 timings. For the DDR2 mix OCZ has prepped a 4GB DDR2-800 kit certified to reach 800 MHz with 5-4-4-18 latencies (when EPP or Enhanced Performance Profiles is used) and a 2GB kit which is said to top 1066 MHz with 5-5-5-15 timings.
