Following yesterday's pictures of the Wind laptop, the folks over at ChileHardware have published a hands-on analysis of the Eee PC alternative.
Equipped with quite a few nice photos, the article seems to be quite positive towards the 10-inch Wind although some issues, due to the early nature of the hardware have been reported.
As you'd expect the 1.6 GHz Atom isn't a processing powerhouse but apparently it gets the job done while in-all the machine works great with Windows XP. And interesting find is also that the laptop uses a Western Digital 2.5-inch hard drive. The verdict is very promising and unveils the Wind as an interesting choice for those looking for a well-built sub-notebook. Sweet.
