Foxconn extend graphics card warranty
written by Ciro - May 15, 2008 11:59

Foxconn has answered consumer's demands, extending its warranty period for graphics cards to three years (if purchased after the 1st of May).

According to Foxconn, the overclocked cards with non-reference cooling solutions and longer warranty periods are just the thing consumers like to see. Many AIB partners are definitely going that way, and many of them already offer the longer three-year warranty. Unfortunately, this isn't enough to beat Zotac's five-year warranty period. According to the press release, Foxconn's extended warranty applies to all graphics cards bought after the 1st of May.
