written by Mike - October 3, 2009 08:38
Fujitsu proudly introduces the Fujitsu LifeBook P8110, the latest notebook in the P Series that promises to inject remarkable beauty and power into every professional's life.

Built to deliver true mobile freedom, distinctive style and effortless efficiency into your hands, the P8110 is just what you need for work and play in the mobility-obsessed age.

With the Fujitsu LifeBook P8110, professionals can now have a companion that not only meets increasingly demanding needs but also one that realises an ambulatory lifestyle. The stress of constant traveling, multi-tasking and connection on-the-go will be dissipated with the performance and design of this machine, said Ms. Irene Tan, Director of Sales, Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Ltd.

Not just an object of style and sophistication, the LifeBook P8110 is a delight to carry around at a nifty weight of 1.38kg and a perfect companion that empowers you with a superior battery life of up to 7 hours with further extension of up to 10.5 hours if the ECO button is utilised. With a single touch, activating the ECO button instantly switches the P8110 to a power saving mode for low power consumption tasks like simple Internet surfing or playing of your favourite songs. Rushing between meetings or travelling overseas on a long haul flight will now be made with greater ease and convenience.

Furthermore, this perfectly portable, light-weight machine features a 12.1" Wide SuperFine WXGA TFT screen with 300nits brightness, to bring about high clarity for doing any spreadsheet work, and a pleasurable experience when watching videos, indoors or outdoors. Paired with a built-in Dual Layer DVD Super Multi Writer and with its HDMI connection ability, switching to large TVs and monitors will not just be a simple affair as the viewing experience is exemplified into a deluxe theatrical treat when watching movies in the comfort of one's home.

The Fujitsu LifeBook P8110 is also an intense performance workhorse, powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU9600 (1.60GHz, 800MHz, 3MB L2 Cache) platform coupled with the latest Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, a maximum supported memory of 4GB DDR3 1066MHZ and a hard disk capacity of 320GB. Those looking to boost system responsiveness even further can choose the optional Intel Turbo Memory that makes multi-tasking a breeze.

The LifeBook P8110 also has an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD with Intel Clear Video Technology and DVMT 5.0 to deliver high-performance 2D/3D graphics with Shader Model 4.0, video and display capabilities at a maximum shared memory of 783 MB / 271MB whilst maintaining greater visual performance with minimal energy required.

Embellished in a mod high-gloss design on magnesium housing with a unique accent line and teasing flashes of elegant chrome, the LifeBook P8110 is fashioned in stylish, lustrous black casing that lets you stand out as a chic individual in every occasion, be it making an important presentation to your client or catching up on your work at a cafe.

This good-looker fares just as great in reliability. Its spill-resistant keyboard puts you at ease even with that occasional liquid spill at your desk. With a built-in 3D Shock Sensor, the LifeBook P8110 also protects the Hard Disk Drive, and more importantly, your precious data, from any physical knocks. Built to last with a solid body, the P8110 has undergone stringent tests with about 200kgf applied on the full LCD top cover surface and a concentrated pressure test of 35kgf during development and evaluation stages.

Without neglecting the communication tools that is intrinsic to any social professional, the LifeBook P8110 comes equipped with a 2.0 Mega Pixels camera, Bluetooth v2.1+EDR, 1000/100/10Mbps2 Gigabit Ethernet and wireless LAN 802.11bgn, or with Intel WiFi Link 5300AGN (3x3) network connection with three Antenna, appropriate for professionals who need to log onto SKYPE or for video conferencing.

With the Fujitsu LifeBook P8110, you will also find yourself saving precious time as it comes with a series of quick buttons to let you access your email, Internet, service support and power saving utility with just one touch on the stylish operation panel. You can also programme other applications according to your needs and usage patterns to these quick function buttons.
