Azza Titan 240

AZZA Titan 240 Case Review

Introduction Cases intrigue me more than any PC component with the exception of cooling units. When it comes time to settle on the perfect chassis, it can take me hours and I still never seem to have 100% certainty on my selection. Because of this, I’m always happy to see numerous manufacturers bringing variety to the market. AZZA is a company I’ve seen numerous times, but this is the first time I’ve been able to get my hands on one of their cases. The other revolution we’ve been seeing in the case market is the crazy amount of tempered glass cases that are being released by almost everyone. AZZA is no exception to this and there’s good reason behind it. The glass side panel goes a long way to making the case look far cleaner than any plastic one, while also making the components inside show through a bit clearer. The end result is a PC that looks a lot nicer than the Plexiglass type panels we’ve dealt with before. We’ll begin looking into how AZZA implements their design, but first let’s look at their statement to find out the philosophy behind the company’s designs. AZZA’s Mission is simple: Your satisfaction is our success! Jumpstarted with the Vision to build a premier corporate company that consistently exceeds the managed expectations of our customers, team members and partners, AZZA is driven by the Mission to provide the highest quality products of unmatched value, along with exemplary customer support. Kraken X62

NZXT Kraken X62 Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Introduction It feels like PC hardware has come a long way in a short time and I’m not talking about performance. Even 10 years ago, ugly white boxes and solid metal side panels were still a norm for many a desktop out there. Today, if it isn’t meant to look pretty, then it isn’t meant to be seen. We have excellent heatsink designs, decorative I/O shields, tempered glass side panels and RGB in just about every component. PCs have never looked better, but that didn’t stop NZXT from trying to raise the bar higher than it already is. The Kraken series has always been a great group of CPU coolers. In fact, this is only the second time NZXT has decided to revise the series since its release. The X62 looks like it has some nice improvements to help performance, but it’s that gorgeous design that makes it an exciting unit to review. We’ll look at all the ins and outs of this new design, but first let’s check out a statement from NZXT themselves. 13 YEARS OF SUCCESSFUL SERVICE CORE VALUES These are the principles that inspire our creativity, drive our decision-making, and guide us in bringing you the best PC gaming products possible. PURSUE PASSION WE ARE A COMPANY OF GAMERS CREATING THE BEST PRODUCTS FOR GAMERS. REVEL IN THAT. FOSTER COMMUNITY WORK AMONG FRIENDS. LISTEN TO AND SUPPORT OUR USERS. BOTH ENSURE OUR CONTINUED SUCCESS. DEMONSTRATE COURAGE GO BEYOND WHAT’S EXPECTED. DO NOT COMPROMISE OR FEAR MAKING MISTAKES. BE HUMBLE CONF...

Avexir DDR4 Blitz Series Review

Introduction It’s a perfect time to customize your PC and personalize it to color coordinate your system. Memory manufacturers are now adding memory with LED lighting and hopefully moving towards RGB in the possible future. Avexir is a company getting popular in the US for having an answer to the lighting and RGB craze, and even has its own unique share of this market. Avexir offers innovation technology like its plasma tube ram, and blitz series lighting. Avexir’s motto is “What we believe is how we behave”. Today I will be looking at Avexir’s Blitz series of DDR4 RAM so we can see what these modules have to offer and what makes them so desired for system builders. The RAM kit that was specifically sent to me was the Blitz White. There are dual channel and quad channel kits available on their site. The kit I’m working with is QUAD channel and the model is AVD4UZ130001604G-4BZ1SW. This kit is 4GB x 4 giving a total of 16GB of ram. The specifications are as follows: CL(IDD) 16 cycles Row Cycle Time (tRCmin) 46.5ns (min.) Refresh toActive/Refresh Command Time (tRFCmin) 260ns RowActive Time (tRASmin) 33ns (min.) LIAN LI PC-K5 (6)

LIAN LI PC-K5X PC Case Review

Introduction Finding a decent mid-tower case for around $50 is a pretty monumental task. I’ve done lots of budget builds for other people and every time, I’m given a budget of the aforementioned price or less. As a building enthusiast, I’ve found it difficult to find something that will have decent airflow, spacious quarters and fans that don’t have those ugly molex connectors. Needless, to say LIAN LI is a welcomed entry in this sector of the market. LIAN LI is known for the exceptional build quality of their cases. The PC-K5X will have to cut some corners, but having 3 pin connectors on the included fans is already a good sign. While this case isn’t the typical aluminum material we’ve grown accustomed to, there’s still many areas a case like this can shine when you look at some other budget options. We’ll need to take a full review approach to see how they do, but before we do that, let’s look at a statement from a company that seems a bit new to budget options. Lian Li Industrial Co., LTD was founded in 1983. We are one of the largest and most reputable manufacturer of aluminium PC case in Taiwan. With over twenty years of experience in the computer products field, our dedicated team of engineers, production specialists and administrative staff provide the finest quality accessories available on the market. In 1993, Lian-Li Introduced the new lines of computer hardware, including bracket ( for case & interface...
SteelSeries Rival 500 (12)

STEELSERIES Rival 500 Gaming Mouse Review

Introduction Please don’t hate me, but I’m going to mention the fact of how many gaming mice there are right now. With that out of the way, there are so many gaming mice around right now, it’s getting real hard to do something that is truly innovative in the market right now. That’s where the Rival 500 comes into play. They’ve redesigned the thumb area on this mouse to do something that is quite unique for the industry and while some of their designs are already unique, STEELSERIES could really be on to something for MMO/RPG gamers. We’ll take a closer look at the mouse shortly, but here’s a quick refresher course on the core values of STEELSERIES. HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset Review

Introduction The Gaming Headset. Ubiquitous and necessary to any gamers arsenal of tools. In cooperative multiplayer games, a good headset can make the difference between the glorious sound of “Head Shot!” yelled out at full volume (much to the dismay of your local Starbuck’s Barrista) and the “mumble mumble” sound of abject failure as your team gets annihilated because nobody could understand you in the TeamSpeak/Ventrilo/Discord channel. Into this very crowded market, HyperX has tossed their brand new gaming headset, the CLOUD Stinger. Before we leap into the review, let’s have a bit of back-story on just who these HyperX people are: Well. There’s a pedigree for you. Kingston Technology’s high performance product division. I guess we should expect a lot from them then! Let’s move right along and see.
