Introduction
When we took a look at the Prolimatech Megahalems Rev. B awhile back, we found it to be a massive, bold, and ultimately very impressive CPU cooler. Prolimatech is a rather new company but they've taken the enthusiast cooling world by storm, as the Megahalems has become very popular in overclocking circles for those looking to push their processor to new heights on air cooling.

Apparently not content to rest on laurels, Prolimatech has now jumped further into the air cooling market, but this time into new territory: VGA cooling. Looking to build upon the success of their CPU heatsink, they've launched the MK-13, an utter beast of a graphics card cooler that is entirely reminiscent of the Megahalems, sporting a ton of fins, heatpipe technology, and a massive size. We're starting to detect a trend here with Prolimatech; brash and relentless in the pursuit of top cooling performance, and they make no apologies for it.

The MK-13 certainly looks like it can put up some impressive performance numbers, so we'll be testing it on an ATI Radeon 5870, a behemoth in its own right, and see if this new VGA cooler can win the clash of the titans. As you'll soon see, there are a couple suprises in store, so let's jump right in and see how successful Prolimatech can be with their inaugural high performance MK-13.

Thanks go to Prolimatech for supplying the review sample.
