Introduction
SilverStone is a name that is synonymous with top quality computer components, when we say "enthusiast" in reference to the computer market, there are truly only a few names that pop into my mind that fit the bill. SilverStone is among one of the most sought after manufacturers of chassis, power supplies and accessories. Founded only in 2003 SilverStone has become one of the foremost influences in a very niche market. Catering to all kinds of enthusiasts like the top PC builder, gamer and the HTPC/audiophile fanatic. SilverStone's equipment is hard beat because of the extremely well engineered and structurally sound build qualities.

One of SilverStone's newer chassis is the Raven 2 which is derived from the original Raven case. The Raven 2 is smaller in stature compared to the original but still packs an aesthetically pleasing punch. Visually stunning the simple lines of the Raven 2 give a very high quality impression generally not matched from more common names we see attached to a chassis. It is like comparing a Chevy to a Bugatti. Sure the Chevy gets you around the block, but the Bugatti gets you there in so many more ways.

The Raven 2 has been engineered for maximum heat dissipation, the fact that heat rises SilverStone has turned the motherboard 90°, and stacked all of the gear vertically rather than horizontally like what we typically see in other cases. Blowing the cold air in from the bottom with the three custom 180mm fans and forcing it out the top of the chassis via 120mm exhaust fan. SilverStone assures it will outperform a majority full tower chassis on the market; providing a noise to cooling performance ratio that breaks current benchmarks for an enthusiast class chassis. The Raven 2 has been gone over with a fine toothed comb and it shows in every aspect of the case. As well as the custom cooling motif the Raven 2 has a few other unique features that we will go over in the rest of this review.
