Eagle T-Series: Specs & Package
Getting down to what the Eagle Tech T-Series offers:

This easy add-on storage system is constructed out of solid metal to better protect your hard drive during movement. Removable hard drive tray simplifies drive installation. Compact vertical design and soft glowing base stand complements any office workspace. It is the ideal solution for backing up your existing hard drive for extra data security. Supports latest 1.5TB drives.

  • Removable hard drive tray for easy assembly
  • Minimal footprint
  • Solid metal construction
  • Stable base stand with LED
  • Quiet fan less design
  • Plug-n-Play USB 2.0
  • 3.0Gbps eSATA
  • Usage: Quick storage subsystems for workstations and DVRs

Here are the specifications:

  • Type: External drive enclosure
  • Form Factor: 3.5”
  • Hard Drive Compatibility: 1.5TB
  • Internal Interface: IDE (66/100/133) and SATA I/II
  • External Interface: Hi-speed USB 2.0 and eSATA
  • Power Source: Universal Switching Power Adapter (5V/12V 2.0A)
  • Power Input: 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz
  • Certification: FCC, CE Certified and RoHS compliant
  • Dimension: 8.8 x 4.9 x 1.2 inch<
  • Weight: 3.0 lbs

Both enclosures were packaged identically; from what I can ascertain, iNEO appears to be an Eagle Tech marketing name (i.e. you can buy an Eagle iNEO enclosure or an Eagle Consus enclosure).  No mention of this was found on the iNEO box, however, and from what little can be deduced from both websites is that Eagle Tech markets iNEO’s hardware in the States.  It appears that both units are aimed at different market segments despite their being within walking-distance of each other price-wise (in the neighborhood of US$20).

Let's have a closer look at the T-Series enclosure.
