Some things we must consider are the size of the motherboard, size of the graphics card, number of hard drives (or solid state drives), top or bottom-mounted power supply, whether air or water cooling will be used, the airflow inside the case and resulting noise levels, not to mention the colour, style, and cost of the case itself. Needless to say, the combinations can be mind boggling, and the choices available are almost limitless.

One of the companies a bit newer to the case market is Nexus.  They are probably best known for their commitment to quiet computing, and probably best known for their silent fans.  But Nexus has been branching into other areas to represent quiet computing, including power supplies and cases.  And it is the latter that we’re interested in today.

One of Nexus’ newest offerings is the Edge, designed as a quiet chassis.  It looks pretty darn sleek, and given the Nexus pedigree, we’re hopeful it will provide a good balance between cooling ability and low noise.  So let’s take a closer look at the Edge and see what it brings to a crowded case marketplace.
