COUGAR’s New Ultimate Gaming Mouse and Keyboard Win iF Design Awards

COUGAR’s New Ultimate Gaming Mouse and Keyboard Win iF Design Awards   March 6th 2014, Taipei – COUGAR, leading PC case, power supply and computer peripherals brand has won design awards for two new gaming peripherals, an ultimate gaming mouse and an ultimate gaming keyboard. It took two years for COUGAR to develop the first aluminum framed gaming mouse, the 700M and keyboard, the 700K, and both have won the iF (International Design Award) of 2014. The iFDesign Awards are considered the design “Oscars” in the IT/PC industry.   Design Concept behind the COUGAR Gaming Mouse 700M is one of a “vertebrate” with metal support for “bones”. This allows for customized ergonomic adjustments and players can transform the feel of it in accordance with customary gestures giving the right height. There is also a unique design idea for the side angle sniper button. At 45 degrees, the lateral force can be slower, so this design provides for a more accurate aim. The “magazine” and “muzzle” shape of the cable connector and its strain relief add to a more game-like feel.   Design Concept behind the COUGAR Gaming Keyboard 700K was inspired by military “stealth warships” technology, the design is created from elements of geometric facets: mechanical key modules are mounted on an exposed, bent aluminum structure with premium anodized surface treatments, enabling more efficient typing bolstered by providing the players wrist support points. Intuitive ke...

Nanoxia has now entered the enthusiast arena with a brand new arrival, called the Deep Silence 6. It is the big brother to their well-known Deep Silence 1 Mid-Tower Chassis, and it is truly a big tower chassis and a huge HPTX case from the next generation of Silent PC cases. Transcend Wins National Award and Earns Top 50 Spot in US Patent Quality Ranking

September 16, 2013 Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend), is proud to announce that one of its memory device patents has been awarded the prestigious “Silver Medal” for its exceptional innovation at the 2013 National Invention and Creation Award (NICA) competition organized by Taiwan’s Intellectual Property Office. This cutting-edge patent, which pertains to the data access circuit and access method within non-volatile memory devices, has already been implemented throughout Transcend’s SSD product range, including industrial SSDs. National Invention and Creation Award This year’s “Silver Medal” marks Transcend’s fourth National Invention and Creation Award. The award-winning invention allows faster data block management in SSD products by assigning a weight value to each storage area based on its error history and usage status. This means that storage areas can be quickly classified and given different data access priority. Additionally, any disabled blocks will be classified in the disabled block area to prevent data storage, thereby reducing the probability of failure and extending the life span of the storage device. This invention has not only obtained a key patent in Taiwan, but has also won crucial patent certificates in both China and the USA. The technology has already been applied to the controller designs of Transcend’s current consumer and industrial-grade SSD products.
