Introduction
NZXT has been one of the movers and shakers in the computer industry for only a short period time; established in 2004 NZXT came to be one of the more reputable companies around by creating gear for gamers and enthusiasts alike.  Their product scope has broadened over the years from chassis to PSU’s, mice, notebook coolers and now enters what they are calling “case accessories”.

NZXT has devised a new product that I wouldn’t personally classify as a case accessory but more of a motherboard add-on.  The NZXT Internal USB Expansion IU01 module is designed simply to expand internal USB ports. With the ever growing popularity of USB devices, whether they are internal or external, there never seems to be enough space for all of your devices.

The IU01 has the capability to expand your internal USB devices by taking up one slot and giving you six in its place as well as two external USB ports. With its own power drawn from the power supply, your motherboard will be taxed less as well as giving your external devices more power for a more reliable performance.

Thanks go to our friends at NZXT for supplying the review sample.

NZXT was established in 2004 with the objective of designing unique products catered for hardware enthusiasts and gamers. NZXT has won numerous awards from media and publications from across the globe with a product line spanning from gaming chassis, power, and gaming input devices. Formed by gamers, NZXT continues to expand into new horizons and push the envelope further with each product unveiling.
