Introduction
I'm no mechanic, I admit. I've driven some fancy (and not so fancy) cars in my day, and I appreciate cars, but I have no clue how they actually work or how to repair them; I just drive them. I fill up the tank, turn on the ignition, and go. Simple. Yet each time I take mine into a mechanic, I realize how much work goes on behind the scenes to just let me get from Point A to Point B in one piece.

Similarly, we often forget that many computer users out there have absolutely no clue how to build a system; they simply know how to just use one. Enthusiasts may scoff at the notion of buying a system, instead preferring to build one, but like the car example, not everyone is an expert. So, being a gamer doesn't inherently mean you know how to build a computer system. However, there are several companies out there who can take care of that if you fall into this category.

iBUYPOWER is one such company, offering users the opportunity to order a pre-designed system, or a customized one, and can suit just about any budget. Their systems tend to be built with the gamer in mind, so we have high expectations today as we take a close look at the iBUYPOWER Paladin XLC V2 Core i7 gaming rig. Complete with a custom paint job, dual graphics cards, and liquid cooling, it is indeed a gaming beast. Let's dive in and get our game on.
