Introduction
The Flash Drive. Perhaps the most overlooked and abused little piece of hardware out there. It's ubiquitious, found on keychains, office desks, even in granny's purse no doubt. Seems everyone has one or needs one, but they're probably the most forgotten device around. Yet with larger and larger files, and more and more information to store or transfer, its importance no doubt rises.

And with those larger files comes more time required to physically move them from device to computer and vice versa. Storage capacity is cheap, but speed hasn't changed much since USB 2.0 is still the standard. While USB flash drives are "pretty fast", that may seem like an eternity if you have a few gigabytes of info to move. So we're stuck, right? Wrong. OCZ apparently has the answer for those people who need much faster than a simple USB flash drive, and they're accomplishing it with an eSATA interface.

Sure it's very fast, but it doesn't come without a few hiccups of its own, so today we're going to examine the OCZ Throttle 32GB eSATA/USB flash drive and see what it can do. How fast is it really? Is the price worth that extra speed boost? Let's find out.

Thanks go to our friends at OCZ Technology for supplying the review sample.
