Introduction
Another week, another Solid State Drive review around PureOC. We can tell these drives are becoming popular. We don't mind, we love this stuff; we're performance nuts just like you. Performance advances are making the news, prices are dropping, and enthusiasts are really starting to look closely at what these SSDs can do. It's an exciting time!

We've seen several impressive SSDs lately, so what's to distinguish one from the other? Speed? sure. Price? Hopefully. Performance management utilities? We hope so. G.Skill's Falcon 128GB SSD is one of many Indilinx-based drives on the market, so we figured it would be fast. But how fast? Let's say we were rather surprised at the results. The Falcon also comes with a Wiper utility and ability to update the firmware. And the price? Pretty reasonable for 128GB. Sounds awfully enticing so far. We wanted to check things out up close and personal so G.Skill let us test drive a Falcon. That's a good thing, because we may have a new King of the SSD Hill on our hands.

Let's take a closer look at put the Falcon through some tough paces and find out.

Thanks go to our friends at G.Skill for supplying the review sample.
