Solid State Drives (SSDs) are a very attractive lure, particularly to enthusiasts. Outstanding performance, lightweight, and power frugal are mighty tempting features. But the price of these drives remain high overall. There is a clear trend, however, by manufacturers to offer SSDs that are more "affordable". But consumers don't want "cheap"; there is a difference.
