Introduction
When we look at the world around us, we often find anachronisms, things out of place or time that seem to go against the current and either make us smile in amusement or shake our head in disbelief. I will confess, in some ways I am an anachronism. For as much as I am immersed in things technological, I own one television. Yes, one. Not only that, but it is rarely available for my own use. Between kid-friendly programs, incessant Pixar or Disney movies, and my lovely wife's distractions, there isn't much viewing time left for me. What's a guy to do, eh? Ah, that's where the computer comes in. I have no shortage of computers, so a TV Tuner card is the perfect way to get my fix without disturbing the delicate hierarchical power balance in my household.

As multimedia technologies and uses become more prolific and part of our daily lives, consumers are looking for products that fill more than one role. Historically, TV tuners have been rather one-dimensional, good only for TV viewing (and limited functionality at that) but that's no longer the case. Rarely do people nowadays look for products that "only" support one of anything.

The ASUS My Cinema EHD3-100 is one such product for the mainstream consumer, both in the terms of physical design but also in versatility and features. Let's take a look at this TV Tuner card that strives to offer users a fuller multimedia experience.
