Introduction
While the Core i7 triple channel DDR3 modules have been dropping in price to the point of mainstream affordability, there are still those that have deep pockets that insist upon the very best performance from a manufacturer, no matter the cost. While not everyone is able to afford these top of the line offerings, sometimes it is nice to be able see what is out there so we can save for the best we can buy for future upgrades.  The upper echelon of performance these days belongs to the DDR3-2000 MHz memory modules.

Today we’ll be looking at such a set of memory modules, the OCZ Blade Series 6GB kit of DDR3-2000 modules, which are currently one of OCZ’s most expensive offerings to date, with a sleek new design for the heatspreaders to boot. Come on, we must insist on great looking aesthetics if we are paying a premium price. Anyways, what about performance?  In our world, Performance is King, so today we’ll found out if these OCZ Blade sticks are King or peasant.

OCZ produces a huge variety of products, particularly in the memory department, and is well known for offering quality modules at very competitive prices. Thanks go to our friends at OCZ for supplying the review sample.
