Introduction
With the economy in its present state, it is perhaps more important than ever to find value for our hard-earned money. We may dream of bleeding edge components that exude quality and power, but we often find a different story when we then look at what our bank accounts can reasonably finance. Power supplies are no exception, and are perhaps one of the most important components in a system build; stable power is critical to system health and component longevity. So the challenge is to find a unit that can provide that stable power without leaving us penniless. And that is quite a challenge at times.

Today we're looking at the NZXT Performance Power 800W power supply, a unit that comes with enough horsepower for a hungry SLI/Crossfire setup, but with a price tag that won't break the bank. It's not a very flashy unit, but it promises good performance at a good price. Sounds like a plan to us. Let's take a look and see if the NZXT Performance Power 800W can live up to those claims.
