Well, okay, not quite.  You still need the hard drives.  But between these two enclosures—The iNEO NA306 and the Eagle Consus T-Series—you shouldn’t have to worry about compatibility, at least in theory.  The iNEO only handles SATA drives, but allows the use of an eSATA connection if you’re all out of USB ports (these days, a likely possibility).  The Eagle lacks the eSATA but handles both SATA and IDE drives; good for making that leftover IDE drive (admit it, you have one in a closet somewhere) into something more useful than a reminder of how good we have it today.

This review wasn’t originally intended to be a direct comparison—the only commonality is, as my initial test will indicate, using a SATA drive with a USB connection—a head-to-head matchup wouldn’t exactly be appropriate.  As we’ll see, though, there’s more to this game than having the right ports.
