Introduction
With the lure of dual graphics cards and wonderfully overclocked quad core processors, we understand the need for more efficient power supplies that offer more horsepower, particularly those in the 750W range. Units in this segment are generally strong enough to power some very beefy systems, yet not terribly expensive and probitive to buy. The need to power these systems in a stable environment is just as important as ever.To that end, consumers want quality and performance at a price that won't break the bank, and today we have a unit that promises just such an enticing combination.

We're looking at the Thermaltake ToughpowerXT 750W power supply, a unit that comes loaded with features. But how well does it perform? Let's take a look.

Thanks go to our friends at Thermaltake for supplying us with the review sample.

“Since the beginning of Thermaltake in 1999, it has been at the forefront of creating new and exciting products at a time where most computer users were provided little to no choices for components that may seem irrelevant, but are in reality crucial to the performance of a PC. Thermaltake Server Series solutions, with years of thermal experience and industry leadership, sets its goal on reforming total thermal management in the server segment by formulating the perfect mixture of versatility, efficiency and thermal management with each respective server product category: Rackmount Chassis, Server Fixed & Redundant Power Supply and Server CPU Cooling Management Solutions.”
