Introduction
Triple channel DDR3 modules are quickly becoming more prevalent and affordable, with most major memory manufacturers now having several different modules available in their product lineup. With such a wide selection available to consumers, it's both a blessing and a curse; choosing the right one for you is often an exercise in frustration. We're working to help that, taking a look at several different products at various speeds and timings, determining which offer great things for different criteria.

One of these companies known for offering top-end enthusiast modules is OCZ Technology. Today we're looking at a set OCZ Platinum 6GB tri-channel DDR3-1600 modules, sticks that appear to offer great aesthetics at a great price. But what about performance? We think Performance is King, so we'll see if the missing link in the equation here is indeed missing or not with these OCZ Platinum sticks.

Our thanks go to our friends at OCZ for supplying the review sample.

Entering the memory market in August 2000, OCZ Technology was built around the determination to manufacture the best high speed DDR and RDRAM. OCZ was founded by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, and our commitment to the end-user has not digressed. OCZ Technology has been an innovator in many areas.
