Silverstone is often known for their premium lineup of full tower cases, with their Temjin line obviously well known, and we recently had the opportunity to review their TJ10 tower. However, Silverstone has branched out more recently into the mid tower segment with their Kublai lineup, a name that comes from the Great emperor following Ghangis Khan who ruled the Mongol empire.
Today we will be looking at the Silverstone Kublai KL03, a mid-tower case with lots of modern features. The case is targeted toward people who want lots of room and excellent thermal management. Silverstone lives up to their “tank-like” quality case with this one. Silverstone doesn’t release a lot of cases each year but they would rather use a nice slab of metal before plastic. So we always expect a solid (heavy!) case, and we have high expectations today for the Silverstone Kublai KL03, which is their most expensive case and is the flagship for the Kublai line.
