Introduction

You'd think people would traditionally get rather excited about power supplies; I mean, all that power pushing through your system, juicing up those uber graphics cards and your crazy overclock on the CPU, right? Traditionally, not really. How many people have (or still have!) a piece of garbage
in a grey box powering their most important data? Thankfully those days are quickly becoming ancient history, and consumers have started to more fully realize that a quality power supply is a critical system component in a PC.

To that end, manufacturers have responded to increased demand for quality power supplies from enlightened consumers. As with most products, the power supply market is increasingly competitve, and there are countless choices available. But not all units are created equal, and finding one that provides stable power, runs quietly, looks good, and offers good value for your hard-earned dollar.......now that is a challenge.

Today we're looking at the ABS/Tagan 700 BZ power supply, a unit that makes big promises along those lines. You may not be very familiar with Tagan, as they are more well-known in European markets but have only recently begun to make inroads in to the North American market. They have established themselves as a respected brand in Europe, so let's take a look at the BZ 700 and see what it brings to the table today.

Thank you to our friends at Tagan for supplying the review sample, you can read more about Tagan in our recent interview with them.

Tagan, particularly in the North American market, is working very diligently to offer innovative, unique products meeting buyers’ needs and wishes for appealing, high-quality, and functional products. In addition, “flexibility” and “enthusiasm” are the major mottos of Tagan, and we believe in the idea of supporting customers as family members.

Let’s now take a look at the BZ 700.
