Introduction

Cases are such a personal thing, something for just about every need and preference, in just about every shape, size, and design you can think of. Tall cases, small cases, black cases, blue case, it's-got-it-all cases. Dr. Suess would be proud. Well, today we're looking at a case that is neither tall nor small, but it is black and blue: NZXT's new mid-sized tower, the Guardian 921. NZXT is looking to take a winning formula in the original Guardian and improve upon it, promising gamers a case that offers solid design, construction, and features for a very modest price. Targeted towards the budget conscious PC enthusiast with a futuristic and aggressive design aesthetic, we tackle the Guardian 921 and see if it indeed fits the bill.

Thank you to our friends at NZXT for supplying the review sample.

NZXT was established in 2004 with the objective of designing unique products catered for hardware enthusiasts and gamers. NZXT has a product line spanning from gaming chassis, power, and gaming input devices. Formed by gamers, NZXT continues to expand into new horizons and push the envelope.

Let’s take a look and see if this case can surpass its predecessor and be the guardian or gopher for gamers' needs.
