Introduction

Swiftech is one of the most reputable brands in the water cooling industry, well known for their excellent designs and affordable products. If you are a water cooling enthusiast then chances are you are very familiar with Swiftech, and may very well even have some of their products in your system.

Swiftech's Apogee GTX was released over a year ago, with its design was based on the previous Apogee GT. It has been a great water block and one of the most popular blocks used by water cooling enthusiasts.  But it was not without its problems and criticisms. Promising to address those issues and provide improved performance in a new product, Swiftech has introduced a new flagship CPU water block, the Apogee GTZ.  While it shares a similar monker of its predecessors, it promises to leap beyond the GT and GTX performance numbers. The new block sure looks great, but performance is King as we say, so today we'll find out if Swiftech has managed to succeed or succumb to its own marketing hype.

If you're a water nut like us, there's probably nothing more exciting than testing a new block. So let's get started.....
