Our US cousins have been enjoying EVGA video cards (and motherboards) for quite some time now, but in the UK we've been distinctly void of their presence in the market. Luckily for us Brit's, EVGA have finally decided to have a crack at the UK and certainly aren't in this to play second fiddle to the likes of BFG and XFX. To lure you away from the competition, EVGA offer some heavyweight after sales support, and anyone who's had a poor RMA experience (me) will know how important this can be.
For starters, there is a ten-year warranty with a suggested RMA turnaround of 3-5 days on all models bar the Signature Series, which has a 24 hour turn around (gob smacked). You also get 24/7 technical support via email or phone (toll free) and something called the "Step Up" program. The Step Up program gives you 90 days from purchase to upgrade your card to the latest and greatest video card direct with EVGA and you only pay the difference, how fantastic is that? I can see many grabbing 7900 GT's now and upgrading to G80 at a later date thanks to this. You can now find EVGA cards at all the major UK e-tailers like OCUK, Scan, Tekheads, Dabs, Komplett, the list is endless.
Now onto the card EVGA have sent over for review -the 7900 GT KO Superclocked. It is no more than a month ago I reviewed the Galaxy 7900 GT, yet back then it made perfect sense to test it against the X1800 XT and X1900 GT as price wise they were identical. The Galaxy 7900 GT held off those two with considerable ease, but now however, the 7900 GT has a new foe, the stupendously fast and massively reduced in price X1900 XT. This is not going to be the walk in the park the 7900 GT has been used to for the past year...

The KO Superclocked is the fastest 7900 GT available besting anything XFX and BFG have to offer. The only 7900 GT faster than this one is EVGA's very own 7900 GT Signature card. It makes a stock 7900 GT look tame by comparison and even knocks on the door of the 7900 GTX.
EVGA have certainly pulled out the stops here. It's the fastest 7900 GT available, at the time of writing it's priced at £217 at OCUK, and they offer an after sale support package that puts pretty much every other video card manufacturer to shame. The only problem facing this card is the X1900 XT, which is now priced at £211 at the very same e-tailer.
