The Sapphire X1800 XT is a reference design and uses the same cooler as any reference 1800XT would use.
The card is actually very heavy, due to the use of quite a bit of copper in the double slot cooler.
In theory the cooler has a very good design. It draws in cool air from outside your case and vents it out the back of the cooler. Because of this, CrossFire will not cause any additional headaches. It’s just a shame it’s a very noisy solution.
The red heatsink keeps the voltage regulators cool. You can also see the main coolers copper design poking its nose out.
