Zalman may be one of the more well-known producers of computer components that primarily involve cooling. However they are still a relatively young company, founded in 1999. For such a fledgling company to have the popularity they now enjoy, they must be doing something right in many aspects of the industry.

But Zalman appears to be looking to expand into other areas of the market beyond cooling. We’ve seen them flirt with a few other product lineups, but today we get our first glimpse at their big push into the competitive market of computer cases.

The Zalman Z9 Plus is an entry level, mid-sized tower that seems to include features normally found on cases that come with very expensive price tags. We’ll admit we’re suckers for great quality and value, regardless of the product type. So let’s jump in and see if the Zalman Z9 Plus can accomplish that.

Zalman was founded in 1999 and introduced to the computer industry the concept of “noiseless computing”. In a world filled with noisy computers, “silent” cooling solutions were sought everywhere and contributed to Zalman’s rapid growth in to the world’s leader of high performance, ultra quiet PC cooling solutions. Zalman continues to lead in the industry through decisive R&D investments, peerless craftsmanship, intensive global marketing, and generous customer support.
