Introduction

XSPC is a popular and reputable brand in the water cooling industry, well known for their excellent designs and affordable products. If you are a water cooling enthusiast then chances are you are very familiar with XSPC, and may very well even have some of their products in your system.

The XSPC Rasa was released some time ago, and while it’s been a great water block, and also very popular, it seems XSPC has decided to continue to build upon that success, and has launched their latest CPU block: the RayStorm. This new product shares many similarities of its predecessors, but promises to produce better performance numbers. The new block sure looks great, but Performance is King as we say around here, so today we’ll find out if XSPC has managed to succeed or succumb to its own claims.

Let’s dive in and find out if the XSPC RayStorm can measure up.

"XSPC released our first product the R120 radiator in 2004, the following year we released our X2O CPU Water block, Pump and Water cooling kit. Since then we have released many award winning products covering all components of watercooling systems, most recently our RX360 full cover GPU waterblocks. All our products are designed for the PC enthusiast market where they are used by gamers and PC modders. Over the past year our products have been proved very popular with boutique PC manufactures and in specialist areas like recording studio PC’s. We are constantly revising our products to improve performance."
