Summary

The Shuttle has proven itself to be quite a capable performer, when compared to other units of the USB 2.0 bus. From what we know about the incoming USB 3.0, it should be backwards-compatible from the preliminary information we have so far, not to mention if USB 1.1 to USB 2.0 compatibility is a sign of things to come. The ease of using USB over eSATA does not leave us longing for eSATA on this unit.

The 2.5” external drive market isn’t anywhere near as expensive as the 3.5” market, and this product can be had for as little as $20, a fantastic price. Frankly, given the gorgeous aesthetics and sleek form, this is a steal at that price.

If you are a regular person who needs portability in a 2.5" form factor, the VIZO is an excellent choice, it has just about everything you’d need in terms of aesthetics, functionality, and performance. Really there isn’t anything negative to say about the Shuttle at all, and we highly recommend it if you’re in the market for something like this.
